Outreach and Education

Taking the topic of adoption to hospitals, schools, churches, colleges, and community organizations, HFS provides birth parent and adoptive parent outreach and education. Presentations cover adoption basics, as well as sensitivity considerations about issues that can impact children and their adoptive and birth families.

There is no charge for a Birth Parent or Adoptive Parent Outreach Worker to speak at your facility. For additional information, call 800-464-2367 and ask for Outreach.

HFS provides a free one hour of continuing education training to medical staff at hospitals and clinics throughout Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties titled “The Healthcare Provider’s Role in Adoption Planning.”
