This Year’s Honorees
The Adoption Guild of Southern California
The Adoption Guild began raising money in support of HFS in 1961, with their first “Doubles Charity Tennis Tournament” in Newport Beach in 1962. HFS is honoring The Adoption Guild this year at the Circle of Hope 2025 for their sixty-four years of fundraising on behalf of HFS. We are truly grateful to these generations of women who have raised millions for HFS programs throughout the years.
Joseph Zanetta, J.D.
Joe is “retiring” from HFS after serving a cumulative twenty-plus years on the
HFS Board of Directors, including stints as President, Vice President and Treasurer; always lending his deep knowledge of fundraising and board development to the organization. Joe, along with former board member Ellen Leggett, is the proud parent of Sam Zanetta, an HFS adoptee. Joe is a seasoned non-profit executive, having served as a leader of two major health care foundations, with over thirty-five years of strategic fundraising and institutional advancement experience.
Thank you, Joe, for your many years of service, from your board colleagues, and all of the children and families who have benefitted from your work at HFS.
