HFS board president Marianne Wright and HFS board member Elaine Tumonis attended the finals of the Roy Emerson Adoption Guild Tennis Classic at the Palisades Tennis Club in Newport Beach on Monday, May 27th. Proceeds from this tournament, now in its 62nd year, benefit HFS programs, and nearly 500 players participated! The tournament ran for 5 days, starting on Thursday, May 23, and included tennis matches at Costa Mesa Tennis Center, Mesa Verde Country Club, and The Tennis Club of Newport Beach, as well as Palisades Tennis Club. A heartfelt thank you to the Adoption Guild and to the sponsors of the tennis tournament, Glenn Turner of Ligentia, and Eric and Joanie Davidson, owners of the Palisades Tennis Club.
