The year 2018 may be winding down, but at Holy Family Services (HFS), we are off and running with new and exciting changes. Welcome to the new HFS! I’m honored and excited to be able to serve as the new President of the HFS Board of Directors. My experience with HFS has been as both an adoptive parent and as a board member for the last 2 years, serving to bring the positive message of adoption to our community. As we move into our 70th year, my hope is to create new partnerships and reintroduce our greater community to the wonderful work of our agency.
First, I would like to thank our past president, Janis Rosebrook, for her excellent leadership as we forged through creating our updated presence. Also, a special thank you to the Adoption Guild of Southern California for their steadfast commitment and contribution to HFS over the last 57 years. We are forever grateful. I would also like to acknowledge our board and marketing leadership team whose investment and enthusiasm has been nothing short of amazing!
During the last year, our strategic plan was to make HFS more visible to those who would benefit by our experience and those who would like to support us. We have been working to create an updated presence for all our friends and supporters and accessibility online for anyone who wants more information about adoption, the positive impacts it has on so many lives and how HFS can be a service to those who need us.
We have consulted with web and design experts to bring you the best experience possible. We now have a new logo and our website has been expertly upgraded. We are also connecting with our community on social media and continually exploring new avenues of support and engagement. We hope you visit us at hfs.org and take some time to explore the pages of our website and fill out our contact form so we can update you on our continued progress.
