HFS is grateful to Pat and Kate, who have been monthly sustaining donors since 2014.
“We just know how many children are out there looking for what we call ‘forever homes’ and any way that we can be involved in making that happen – helping that to happen – is really important to us.”
Pat was on the HFS Board from 2012 – 2015. Pat has two adopted sons and was a foster parent for five years. Pat’s numerous other activities include working with the United Cerebral Palsy homes in Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks and delivering meals to seniors twice a week with Great Plates in Ventura County. She is also currently on the boards of her local Little League and the LGBT+ Aging Coalition of Ventura. Pat and Kate, who is the Manager of Spiritual Care at St. John’s Hospitals in Oxnard, have also been involved with Special Olympics for over 40 years. HFS honored Pat and Kate at our Circle of Hope “non-event” in 2021 for their ongoing monthly contributions that sustain HFS programs throughout the year.
