Personal testimony from HFS’ Board President
Like many couples trying to conceive, it was not as easy as it would seem. I felt I had to try all my options and it was exhausting. When it seems all the doors were closed, I realized it was so simple: I just wanted to be a Mom. That’s the moment when we started looking into adoption and found Holy Family Services (HFS). It was the best decision we ever made.
All the confusion and disappointment started to disappear: we felt we had a purpose. Not too long after, we were matched with Gabriel and took him home at two weeks old. Gabriel has been an absolute joy and a blessing in our lives. I felt all “would be” parents needed to know this is an option so I decided to support HFS in helping other parents realize their dream. Just like Gabriel’s namesake, I wanted to spread the message, so I joined HFS as part of their Board to help spread the positive message of adoption.
